Another Testimonial!

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Hey Josh,

This is SSG Aaron Blanton. I am the proud owner of a Father’s Day gourmet cake in hot dusty Iraq. It came neatly packaged with a special note from my awesome wife of 15yrs. This is our sixth deployment together and third combat zone. I am writing you to let you know what an infectious moment you caused among all of us when I opened the box to see the super duper cake inside. Just to let you know we are waiting to tear into the cake until Father’s Day when I can get the dads from my platoon together for pictures with the cake. What you are doing really did brighten up this old infantryman’s day, and with all the negativity in the media it is nice to hear that our sacrifices are still recognized by some. Thanks again!

Sincerely,
SSG Aaron Blanton

Hot Pink Mamas

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

A little news on Hillary’s part. She is our president of New Business Development, and she recently joined the Hot Pink Mamas networking group. She will be supplying bag-stuffers (Hot Pink Goodie Bags) — like postcards with offers on them — at different Las Vegas events. So Bake Me A Wish will be in goodie bags distributed at the Largest Business Mixer, Health & Beauty Expo and the Mom Preneur Expo among others. So keep an eye out for us!

He Fought The Good Fight

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

On Saturday, July 12, former White House press secretary and Fox News Sunday anchor, Tony Snow, lost his battle against colon cancer at the age of 53. He’s being remembered for his passion for the political process, his enthusiasm for debate, his love of life and above all else — his love for his wife and three kids. He fought against colon cancer, which took the life of his mother when he was only 17, with a positive outlook and incredible grace. He will be missed.

The Bake Me A Wish blog wishes everyone a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend. And remember when you’re planning your grilling menu, everything tastes better when it’s followed by cake. :)
