“I am such a sucker for cake and especially for chocolate! When I heard about Bake Me a Wish I knew I had to do a review. Boy was I surprised when the very next day I received my cake on ice ready for me to devour!

I received the Triple Chocolate Enrobed Brownie Cake. It was soooooooooo yummy! I love that they use only the finest ingredients and are family owned out of New York. These award winning cakes are perfect for any event. I’m thinking Mother’s Day? For me….. every year….!

On Saturday Morning around 6am, when most Americans were still snuggled in bed with visions of fireworks dancing in their heads, our team made their way to Liberty Island to prepare for the historic reopening of the Statue of Liberty’s crown. For those who have never seen a summer sunrise in New York City, the view from the Statue Cruise line was incredible! While we were a bit tired, our team was ready for a fantastic day in honor of America’s birthday.

Upon arrival we prepared our tent and cake display for the reopening ceremony. Our crown display was a hit at the celebration and the ceremony was attended by such dignitaries as Gov. Corzine (D-NJ), Gov. Patterson (D-NY) and Mayor Michael Bloomberg. We even had a chance to meet Ken Salazar, the Secretary of the Interior!

Back at our tent, our team prepared the 3000 cakes that we were handing out that day – a sight not to be missed.

For the hours that followed, we collected thousands of letters in support of soldiers and enjoyed the company of our fellow Americans as they participated in a wonderful 4th of July celebration. Some even stopped to eat our delicious Cookies and Cream Singular Sensation, right there on the spot!

We had an amazing time with everyone and encourage each and everyone to get behind a cause, find something you can dedicate your heart to and make a difference in this world.

“Yesterday, the UPS man knocked at my door and I squealed with delight! Yes, you can remind me of that later on, lol! But the reason for the squeal? He was delivering my Triple Chocolate Enrobed Brownie Cake! The cake was positively divine! I had a little wedge, but you see, the rest of my family was home plus a couple of our married college age kids were dining with us and that cake was gone before you could say, “Would you like a slice?”"
