Chocolate Victoria Sponge Cake recipe
A light and delicious chocolate sponge cake when paired with tea. Found over at the Fit Pig!
Prep time: less than 15 mins
Cooking time: 20-25 mins
- Cream butter and sugar
- Gradually add beaten eggs
- Fold in flour and cocoa powder
- Pour in equal measure into two greased cake tins
- Preheat oven to 180c / 350f
- Place both tins on same shelf
- Cook for 20-25 mins
- Cooked when knife comes out clean.
Butter Cream Filling
- Put in bowl and stir till smooth
