What Should You Leave Out for the Easter Bunny?
Everybody knows the Easter Bunny loves carrots. But even giant bunnies need something sweet from time to time!
On the night before Easter, most families leave out a couple carrots for the Easter Bunny, a tradition that likely evolved from the Christmas tradition of leaving cookies and milk for Santa.
But we think the Easter Bunny is getting the short end of the stick here!
Surely, he must get a little tired of raw carrots before the night is out. A rabbit can only eat so many vegetables. Especially when he’s passing out all those delicious treats to children.
Instead, make your house a memorable stop for the Easter Bunny by leaving him a slice of his favorite dessert — carrot cake!
It’s a win-win situation.
The Easter Bunny gets to enjoy a moist slice of cake, and you and your family get to enjoy the rest. He’s a big rabbit, but he really doesn’t need the WHOLE cake.
We know what you’re thinking: “Great! Another task to add to my to-do list, on top of coloring eggs and buying new clothes!” But, trust us, enjoying a gourmet carrot cake is easier than you think.
You and the Easter Bunny will taste the freshness in every bite of our rich carrot cake. This delicious spice cake is speckled with freshly grated carrots, plump raisins and crisp walnuts. And the two layers of moist cake are bound together with a delectably smooth cream cheese frosting.
Start a new tradition this year and give the Easter Bunny (and yourself) something to smile about!
