Our founder had a simple wish: to send his mother a Tiramisu cake for her birthday. Having just moved to Manhattan, he was surprised to discover that no bakery in New York City would ship a cake by mail. Determined to find a solution, he got together with a few friends, and they decided to do it themselves — baking and shipping a beautiful cake right to her door. That moment of inspiration would change everything.
