Our weekday order cutoff time is 4:45pm EST. In order to have a gift delivered the following day, your order must be submitted before the cutoff time. Orders received after 4:45pm EST Mon-Fri will be processed the following business day.

What if I need to cancel my order?

To cancel your order, please call our Customer Care Team directly at 888-987-9474. Cancellation requests must be received no later than 4:00pm EST on the date of shipment (i.e., before the gift physically ships out). Once an order has shipped, however, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.

What if I forgot to add a discount code?

Can I add a personalized message to my gift?

Yes. All our gifts include a greeting card reflecting the occasion of your gift. 250 characters of well-wishing can be entered on the card.

Can I include a message to write on the cake?

Regrettably we cannot write any message on the cakes. We have found that an iced message may be smeared within the shipping process. Many cakes are available with an imported Belgian chocolate occasion plaque (Happy Birthday, etc.), depending on which occasion you select.

What happens if my gift arrives damaged or late?

On-time delivery is of utmost importance to us and our delivery service provider, UPS. If you experience complications with the delivery of your order you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, store credit or overnight reshipment of a fresh gift. Contact our Customer Care Department either by phone (888-987-9474) or email (customercare@bakemeawish.com) as soon as possible so that we may investigate and offer you resolutions to any late or damaged shipments. How will I know where my gift was delivered to?

Home deliveries usually will state front door, back door or even garage. Apartment deliveries are made to the front door of your recipient's residence however, if the door is inaccessible by UPS or if the area is deemed unsafe by the UPS driver, UPS will deliver the gift to the front office/leasing office etc and note the tracking information as such. Business locations and hotels/motels typically will have a designated delivery location for UPS deliveries. Most educational institutions will not give the UPS driver access to their grounds/facilities to search out a recipient directly for the safety of the students and staff, so the package must be received by a central location (college/dorm mail center, front desk/reception, shipping dock, etc.). Additionally, we do recommend contacting the hotel prior to the arrival of the delivery to inform them of the perishable nature of the gift and the date of delivery.

Can I have a gift delivered outside of the 50 United States?

Our gifts can be delivered anywhere domestically within the United States as we ship your gifts with UPS. We are also able to ship gifts to US Military personnel across the seas stationed at US military bases (FPO, APO, APE, DPO).

What time will my gift arrive?

AM deliveries guarantees delivery by 12pm Noon. Business Deliveries are guaranteed before 5pm (must include name of business and/or suite number of the business). Standard 2-Day service or Overnight ("Next Day Air Saver") guarantees delivery by end of day, up to 7pm local time (though most deliveries occur by 5pm). Unfortunately, UPS does not offer midnight deliveries.

Will you call my recipient before delivery is attempted?

Though your recipients phone number is printed on the UPS shipping label unfortunately, UPS drivers do not carry company cell phones and cannot contact your recipient before, upon, nor following a delivery attempt.

How do I track my package?

The evening that your package ships out you will be emailed a UPS tracking number around 6:00 PM EST.

You can also track your gift and view the details of your past and present orders, by viewing your account on our website.

Log into your account by using your email address and password on our website. Once logged in, click on 'MY ACCOUNT', 'VIEW MY ORDERS'. Click on 'TRACK' to view your gifts location through UPS.

If your item has been issued a tracking number, it will appear under the shipping info. (tracking numbers are typically issued by 6pm EST the evening your order ships out, typically 1-2 days before the scheduled delivery date.) You can click where it says 'TRACK' under the UPS tracking number, and you will be taken to the detailed UPS tracking information.

UPS will update your tracking details as soon as it has been delivered. Within approximately an hour you will receive a confirmation of delivery email.

What are the sizes of your cakes and how many people do they serve?

All item details such as size, serving size etc can be found towards the bottom of the item page. Most of our gourmet cakes are 7 inches and serve approximately 6-8 people. Our cakes are known for their richness and decadence and are typically served in smaller slices because of this. 10-inch cakes serve 12 to 15 people COLOSSAL Sheet Cakes (Quarter Sheet Cake 9x13x3) serve 20 to 24 people Mini Cupcakes are available in One Dozen and serve 4-6 people Jumbo Cupcakes are available in a 4 Pack and serve 6-8 people. Do you offer products that accommodate special dietary needs?

Our gifts are Kosher, but while we never want to exclude anyone from experiencing our delicious gourmet baked goods, we do not currently offer specialty products such as those listed as- Halal, Gluten Free, Vegan, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Sugar Free or Completely Nut Free (we have trace warnings on all of our products).

How do I store my gourmet bakery gift?

We recommend removing the gift from the cooler as soon as possible to rest at room temperature for up to one hour before enjoying. You can leave the shrinkwrap on the gift until you serve. Our gifts stay good in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months. All care instructions are listed on the cake labels Refrigerated cakes (layer cakes, cheesecakes): good for 5 days refrigerated Brownie / coffee cakes – 4-inch cakes: good for 5 days, non-refrigerated and covered Frozen – all cakes can be frozen for 2 months. Cookies / brownies – eat within 5 days. Do not freeze, do not refrigerate.

How do I dispose of the packaging and coolants?

Cardboard Box: We recommend breaking down the white Bake Me A Wish box and disposing of it in the appropriate cardboard recycling area. Gel Packs: The best way to dispose of the gel ice packs is to allow them to fully thaw. Next, cut open the side and empty the gel into your waste receptacle. Recycle the empty plastic pouch with other plastics. We highly recommend that you do not put the thawed gel down your sink or septic tank. While it is nontoxic and non-hazardous, it can further clog the pipes if there is a pre-existing clog. The method above is the best method of disposal. Dry Ice: The dry ice will arrive in a plastic bag inside of the cooler. If you receive the gift and there is an empty bag with no dry ice; than the dry ice did its intended job. The dry ice will slowly evaporate releasing the cold to keep your gift safe and secure from the heat. Please dispose of the plastic bag into your garbage. If you receive your gift with ruminates of dry ice, we recommend removing the dry ice bag from the cooler, removing your gift and then returning the bag to the empty cooler leaving it at room temperature in a well-ventilated area until evaporated. Please note, do not touch dry ice with bare skin. Dry ice may burn skin if not protected. Additionally, DO NOT dispose of the dry ice in your sink as it may cause damage to your plumbing. Coolers: What’s cool about our coolers? We use recycled Styrofoam that is environmentally conscious. Yes! Contrary to popular belief, Styrofoam can be recycled! Bake Me A Wish only uses recycled foam for its coolers and encourages its recipients to help keep the cycle going. We are unfortunately unable to ship your gift out of the country as the risk of getting a perishable product through international customs and delivered before spoiling is just too high. We can ship select gifts to our US Military members stationed outside of the United States, with a valid APO/FPO or DPO address, sent via USPS with our Operation Birthday Cake. Can I have a gift delivered to Hawaii or Alaska?

There is an additional $25 charge for delivery to Alaska and Hawaii on top of regular shipping and handling charge of $19.99. Deliveries can only be made Wednesday- Friday by using 2-day air service. To see if the gift of your choice is available to ship to Hawaii/Alaska, view the item page of the product you are interested in and find the shipping information at the bottom of the page. If the item is available for a 2-day shipping the gift is able to be delivered to Hawaii/Alaska. IMPORTANT! Bake Me A Wish! cannot be held responsible for incorrect or omitted information. What happens if I provide the wrong address or an address with missing information?

If you discover after your order has shipped that there is a problem with the address, we do have options.

UPS Change of Address: UPS offers a service to intercept a package that is already in transit and change or update the shipping address. There is a charge of $16 and it typically will cause a one business day delay in delivery. You must contact our Customer Care team at 888-987-9474 and provide payment details before we can make the adjustment to the address of a package in transit. Once a change of address has been made with UPS and additional transit time is imposed on our perishable gifts, we no longer guarantee the freshness of our gifts.

IMPORTANT! Bake Me A Wish! cannot be held responsible for incorrect or omitted information. Any exception received, due to missing or bad information, immediately nullifies guaranteed delivery. Apartment numbers and suites for residential and business deliveries must be included for on-time delivery. Your cake will not be delivered on time without this information! UPS Will Call: UPS offers a service to hold your package at the nearest UPS customer center for pickup. There is no charge for this service. If you request the will call on the same day delivery is due, the local UPS driver will take your package to the customer center after their route is complete. We will provide you with the address and phone number of the location. A government issued photo ID is required when shipping or picking up a package at a UPS Customer Center and must match the name of the receiver on the shipping label.

Why am I not able to select certain dates for delivery on your delivery date calendar?

There are certain days throughout the year on which we cannot deliver, such as Sundays (as UPS does not operate that day), certain holidays, and in some cases, the day directly following a holiday. We also cannot deliver gifts on Mondays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, due to summer heat. The days on which delivery is not possible are grayed out on our calendar.

Gel Packs: The best way to dispose of the gel ice packs is to allow them to fully thaw. Next, cut open the side and empty the gel into your waste receptacle. Recycle the empty plastic pouch with other plastics. We highly recommend that you do not put the thawed gel down your sink or septic tank. While it is nontoxic and non-hazardous, it can further clog the pipes if there is a pre-existing clog. The method above is the best method of disposal. Dry Ice: The dry ice will arrive in a plastic bag inside of the cooler. If you receive the gift and there is an empty bag with no dry ice; than the dry ice did its intended job. The dry ice will slowly evaporate releasing the cold to keep your gift safe and secure from the heat. Please dispose of the plastic bag into your garbage. If you receive your gift with ruminates of dry ice, we recommend removing the dry ice bag from the cooler, removing your gift and then returning the bag to the empty cooler leaving it at room temperature in a well-ventilated area until evaporated. Please note, do not touch dry ice with bare skin. Dry ice may burn skin if not protected. Additionally, DO NOT dispose of the dry ice in your sink as it may cause damage to your plumbing. Coolers: What’s cool about our coolers? We use recycled Styrofoam that is environmentally conscious. Yes! Contrary to popular belief, Styrofoam can be recycled! Bake Me A Wish only uses recycled foam for its coolers and encourages its recipients to help keep the cycle going. What is your guarantee for fresh, on-time delivery?

On-time delivery is of utmost importance to us and our delivery service provider, UPS. If you experience complications with the delivery of your order you may be eligible for a refund on your shipping amount or the total order amount if the gift is damaged. Contact our Customer Care Department either by phone (888-987-9474) or email (customercare@bakemeawish.com) as soon as possible so that we may investigate and offer you resolutions to any late or damaged shipments. Where can my gift be delivered?

Our gifts can be delivered to a home, business or educational facility anywhere domestically within the United States (no territories) as we ship your gifts with UPS. We are unfortunately unable to ship your gift out of the country as the risk of getting a perishable product through international customs and delivered before spoiling is just too high. We can ship select gifts to our US Military members stationed outside of the United States, with a valid APO/FPO or DPO address, sent via USPS with our Operation Birthday Cake. Can I have a gift delivered to Hawaii or Alaska?

There is an additional $25 charge for delivery to Alaska and Hawaii on top of regular shipping and handling charge of $19.99. Deliveries can only be made Wednesday- Friday by using 2-day air service. To see if the gift of your choice is available to ship to Hawaii/Alaska, view the item page of the product you are interested in and find the shipping information at the bottom of the page. What happens if I provide the wrong address or an address with missing information?

If you discover after your order has shipped that there is a problem with the address, we do have options.

UPS Change of Address: UPS offers a service to intercept a package that is already in transit and change or update the shipping address. There is a charge of $16 and it typically will cause a one business day delay in delivery. You must contact our Customer Care team at 888-987-9474 and provide payment details before we can make the adjustment to the address of a package in transit. Once a change of address has been made with UPS and additional transit time is imposed on our perishable gifts, we no longer guarantee the freshness of our gifts.

UPS Will Call: UPS offers a service to hold your package at the nearest UPS customer center for pickup. There is no charge for this service. If you request the will call on the same day delivery is due, the local UPS driver will take your package to the customer center after their route is complete. We are unable to tell you a specific time the package will be available for pick up. You must contact the local UPS customer center. We will provide you with the address and phone number of the location. A government issued photo ID is required when shipping or picking up a package at a UPS Customer Center and must match the name of the receiver on the shipping label.

Do you offer free shipping promotions?

When we offer free shipping or promotional discounts you will be the first to know as you will receive notice of the offer via email from bakemeawish.com. We typically also have the offer prominently displayed on our website. Sadly, there are many deceptive businesses online that entice customers to their coupon sites by stating offers of free shipping and discounts. What time must I place my order by to have delivery the following day?

All orders must be completed by 4:45 EST to be processed that day and be eligible for next day delivery. Please know that we are unable to make any exceptions to this shipping cutoff time. Our packages are picked up at our shipping facility at the latest time possible so that we may offer such a quick turnaround time for our customers special occasions.

What kind of ingredients do you use?

We use the finest ingredients. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a specific ingredient in any of our products (for allergies, etc.), please check with us directly at 888-987-9474 before placing an order. Our gifts include ingredient and nutritional information enclosed with the package.

Why am I not able to select certain dates for delivery on your delivery date calendar?

There are certain days throughout the year on which we cannot deliver, such as Sundays (as UPS does not operate that day), certain holidays, and in some cases, the day directly following a holiday. We also cannot deliver gifts on Mondays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, due to summer heat. The days on which delivery is not possible are grayed out on our calendar.
