Frequently Asked Questions
Does the recipient in Venice get a phone call ahead of delivery?
UPS does not call ahead. Give the recipient or someone at the address a heads-up about the expected date. Tracking can help them check whether the gift has arrived.
Can I request morning delivery for a cake going to Venice?
Ask Customer Care whether a paid UPS AM upgrade is available for the address. The AM window is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rather than a guaranteed exact hour. It isn't offered on Saturdays.
How will I know the cake was delivered in Venice?
The UPS record identifies when and where the package was delivered. A delivery confirmation email follows approximately an hour later. For a campus or office, check with receiving staff if the package hasn't reached the recipient.
